Sr. Piping Designer
Client: Chemical Plant
Location: Shreveport, La
Duration: Now- Long term, on going

Schedule: M-F 40-50/hrs a week
CadWorx Plant & CadWorx P&ID experience required
Prefer experience with- NavisWorks
- Cyclone (or equivalent laser scanning software)
- Recap
- Leica TruView
Must possess the ability to climb ladders, maneuver through scaffolding/pipe racks, and work at heights wearing a harness
Ability to perform layout work and proficient in use of basic tools and surveying equipment including transit, sight level, etc.
Prefer experience using Point Cloud data (.rcp) inside of AutoCad/Cadworx to develop 3d Models
Acting under minimal supervision, prepares and produces construction drawing packages by providing detailed designs
Knowledgeable of- Industry Engineering Practices and Standards
- Use of Piping Specifications
- Understands P&ID piping and valving symbology to a high degree
- Can update or develop P&IDs as required
Structural and concrete experience ( sufficient experience to design supports/foundations for their projects)
