PTS Advance is actively hiring a Senior Recruiter to join our client's industry leading Talent Acquisition team. This position is currently 100% remote, but must be located near their North Carolina or Massachusetts offices.
 
 
The Senior Corporate Recruiter coordinates the recruitment and onboarding of staff in all divisions.
 
 Responsibilities
  • Works in partnership with Division Leaders and hiring managers to locate project needs and the desired skills for staff.
  • Designs and implements recruiting strategies based on qualifications and job specifications for expected vacancies.
  • Creates and publicizes recruitment efforts in suitable places that may include online tools such as LinkedIn, and educational and professional journals and publications.
  • Supervises communications and relationships with college placement officers, engineering professors, and professional employment services.
  • Attends engineering career fairs.
  • Reviews resumes, authenticates academic records and prior work experience, and performs interviews or identifies suitable staff or agency to carry out these tasks.
  • Schedules and organizes promising candidates to visit the company and interview with department managers and supervisors.
  • Offers salary range guidance based on current, competitive pay levels in the area.
  • Maintains contacts in the engineering community by active engagement and membership in professional organizations.
  • Other duties as delegated.

 Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant background i.e., engineering, business administration human resources, or related fields, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience in a recruiting environment required.
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting for an engineering firm preferred.
  • Previously used an ATS, applicant tracking systems, preferably ICIMS.
  • Capability to network, utilizing various tools such as LinkedIn.
Context
  • Travel will be required, up to 10% of your time to attend networking or career events. Will work in an office environment, potential to attend meetings on and off site and could tour project areas while escorted by the client or Supervisors for observation purposes.
