Our Client is a leading provider of Industrial Construction and Mechanical Services in the West. They are looking for a Health and Safety Superintendent & Tank Entry Supervisor (TES certified) to play a critical role for Site Safety services onsite at the Wilmington/Carson, CA. Refinery.
Job responsibilities:
- Run daily COVID Checks
- Conduct tailgate meetings
- Execute compliance of company safety standards and procedures
- Analyze potential safety risks and recommend appropriate solutions
- Partner with leadership to ensure safety practices are executive and adhered to
- Lead detailed reviews of failure analysis and gaps to drive safety optimization planning and strategy
- Maintain company safety program records
- Investigate employee safety incident reports and ensure corrective actions are achieved/completed
- Maintain a visible presence to ensure employees have information, support and guidance as needed
- Analyze safety metrics and review incident trends to address resources accordingly
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience developing, executing and maintaining Safety and Compliance in the workplace
- Extensive Safety training with strong leadership and skills
- Solid track record of continuous improvements and strategic implementations of safety programs
- Ability to work cross-functionally and across all levels from individual contributors to upper management
- Adaptable to various environments and experience incorporating safety methodologies into daily practices
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
Required:
- API-TES Tank Entry Supervisor
- Current TWIC (Transportation Workers ID Card)
- 20 hours RSO (current)
- Active status in drug testing and Background (DISA or OSCA)
