The Warehouse Coordinator will be assisting our client with warehouse assistance around the facility. The ideal candidate must be forklift certified and have warehouse and SAP experience. 

Schedule:
  • Monday- Friday 7am-5pm. Will be on call every 3 weeks .
  • During outage could work 7am-7pm
  • Will get 45 hours each week
  • Length: 6 month contract 

Overview: 
Manage and track materials and the Kitting Process for scheduled work and assist Craft Coordinators, Contractor Foremen, and Work Execution Teams with emergent materials and services and equipment transport needs throughout the day when requested in support of assuring work execution effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity and the accomplishment of site Safety, Environmental, Reliability, Regulatory, and Production goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Continuously monitor and respond as appropriate to all methods of communication (email, phone, texts, Teams, office visits, radio, handwritten notes, etc.).
  • Master materials ordering, tracking, and management skills, processes, and tools (IW32, MMBE, IWBK, SAP Specialty / Bolt-on Tools, or equivalent Fiori tiles, etc.).
  • Mentor MWP Admins to understand and assist in their assigned Materials / Equipment management tasks.
  • Coach Planners as necessary in the art of ordering and managing materials and the Kitting process.
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Materials 'Kitting' to effectively manage the Kitting process.
  • Receive and act-upon requests in the most appropriate, expeditious manner required.
  • Journal all expediting requests as a record of Materials Coordinator usage and to organize / track tasks.
  • Communicate with suppliers, vendors, warehousing / procurement, external service providers / shops.
  • Report materials and services availability and external repair shops progress to Craft Coordinators, Contractor Foremen, and Schedulers in support of driving work execution forward towards completion.
  • Follow and apply all site and company driven materials management policies and guidelines.
  • Order emergent materials for Craft Coordinators, Contractor Foremen, and Work Execution Teams; communicate with the Field Expeditor, Craft Coordinators, Contractor Foremen, and Work Execution Teams to arrange field-delivery of materials upon receipt at warehouse receiving or withdrawal from warehouse (reservation).
  • Assist the Field Expeditor in managing, communicating, and coordinating with Craft Coordinators, Contractor Foremen, Shop Supervisors, and External Shops for transport and escort of equipment to be sent out for repair / received back from repair: 
               - Transport to / from field
               - Transport to / from decontamination
               - Transport to / from Shops
               - Transport to / from shipping and/or receiving point(s)
               - Transport to / from Warehouse
  • Obtaining assurance of delivery at External Shops; obtaining external repair shop updates and equipment return estimates / definition and transferring this information to Schedulers.
  • Work closely with Schedulers and the Field Expeditor to be aware of the upcoming day's and upcoming week's schedules. Consult Craft Coordinators and Contractor Foremen to assist in strategically and securely staging materials, supplies, tools, and maintenance equipment for scheduled work.
  • Guiding Field Expeditor activities:
               - Transport / escort of materials and equipment to-and-from / from-and-to decontamination, shops, Warehouse, shipping /                                                  receiving points, field, etc.
               - Shipping documentation and assurance of shipping
               - Materials staging (communicating with Schedulers, Shop Supervisors, Craft Coordinators, and Contractor Foremen to understand                                 timing, locations, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Must be local to Big Spring, TX
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiar with SAP software 
  • Forklift certified
