Our client is an environmental consulting and construction firm that designs and implements sustainable environmental solutions, including solid and hazardous waste management, landfill gas, site remediation, renewable energy, and regulatory compliance. They have an immediate hybrid opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager within their Los Angeles, CA location.
This person will also be responsible for:
- Coordinate with vendors on equipment performance and warranty issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to perform site work.
- Research for vendors, subconsultants and subcontractors capable of performing various scopes of work.
- Work with local authorities on permit applications and requirements.
- Solicit bids for equipment and services.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to complete punch list work.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the PM.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) years of related experience is required.
- 8 to 10 years of experience within the construction industry.
- Engineering degree is not required, but preferred.
Other Relevant Information:
- Can be remote, but hybrid is preferred
- Contract-to-hire (6+ months)
