PTS Advance has an immediate position available for a Buyer - T/A, Projects & Construction. Position is on site in Martinez, CA.  We are looking to bring someone on to support Buying needs for our upcoming Turnaround events. The candidate will need to have SAP experience. Preferred experience in a Refinery. 

Responsibilities include:

o Create & issue material & service PO's for assigned units/projects.

o Procurement of pipe, valves, fittings & other T/A related items.

o Prepare & create RFP packages in Ariba while providing cost breakdowns & comparisons to Project Owners/Planners upon bid ending.

o Work with end user to ensure correct materials are ordered & be the informational liaison for contractor & supplier communications.

o Routinely work to source best pricing & delivery options.

o Work with suppliers & warehouse personnel to track material deliveries & ensure deliveries are received within SAP.

o Gather & provide updates for T/A Tracking Log.

o Work with A/P to resolve vendor payment issues.

o Assist Project Controls with PO closeouts.
