Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Anderson, SC
Duration: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour

Position Overview

PTS Advance is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support HR operations for a busy manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC. This role will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, reporting, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting both hourly and salaried employees.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, background checks, drug screens, and new hire orientation.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and ensure HR records are accurate and up to date.
  • Process employee status changes, including transfers, pay changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Support internal job posting processes, employee referral programs, and temporary workforce administration.
  • Enter and maintain employee information within HR systems and generate routine workforce reports.
  • Track attendance, turnover, and other employee-related metrics.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company-sponsored events.
  • Support invoice processing, budget tracking, and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to HR leadership and plant management teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative support experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.

Education

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
