CAD Administrator

The S3D Administrator manages all related activities of the S3D database on the project. The S3D Administrator ensures that all of the S3D software components have been customized and/or enhanced and have been properly integrated according to the needs of the project. The S3D Administrator is actively involved during the project's S3D definition, implementation and closeout stages.
- Manage the project S3D setup and customization activities
- Load and maintain the engineering specification database and libraries on the S3D project in coordination with the SPM Administrator.
- S3D Environment Setup
- Knowledge of the workshare aspects of S3D and sharing of data between multiple centers.
- Schedule and validate all S3D archivals.
- Creation and maintenance of Orthographic Drawing Setup.
- Creation and maintenance of Isometric Drawing Setup.
- Isometric trouble shooting.
- Maintain all Client Reviews, verify software is operating sufficiently, ensure model is up to date, and produce a tag report.
- Recover modeled objects as requested by the project.
- Knowledge of VB6, SQL and .Net required to:
- Develop/customize pipe supports and other specialty items parametrics for use in 3D design.
- Develop special interfaces and reports between the 3D database and other engineering tools.
- Interfaces with all third party software.
- Proficient in MicroStation/AutoCad.
