Process Engineer (Refinery)

Overview:
 Seeking a Process Engineer with strong refinery experience to support pressure safety valve (PSV) program efforts. This role will focus on reviewing and validating existing PSV mitigation packages and collaborating with unit engineers to ensure compliance with current plant conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate existing PSV mitigation packages; coordinate with unit engineers
• Support field walks and data collection for PSV-related work
• Turn over finalized mitigation packages to TAR team
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements based on current operations
• Assist with unit support projects (e.g., wastewater monitoring, energy coordination)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of refining experience preferred
• Direct experience with PSV calculations required
• Smith & Burgess PSV training a plus
• Ability to work in the field and solve moderately complex problems
