PTS is looking for a Highway/Roadyway Engineer that is passionate about joining a multidisciplinary engineering firm dedicated to developing superior infrastructure solutions for their community.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, subconsultants, and cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.
• Lead the Florida transportation team, managing staffing, morale, and client satisfaction to ensure profitable operations.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee agreements for FDOT and other agencies, including subconsultant agreements.
• Serve as Project Manager, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality from concept to completion.
• Lead transportation projects, ensuring compliance with DOT standards, codes, and regulations, and serve as Engineer of Record.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed design phases, and present project plans to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in transportation design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain within 6–12 months).
• FDOT project experience is required.
• Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, 3D corridor modeling, and Microsoft Project.
