Civil Superintendent/ Foreman
Our client is a civil construction company utilizing heavy equipment and specializing in dirt, asphalt and concrete work with services in a wide variety of areas such as excavation, grading, HDPR piping, earthwork, concrete, demolition, foundations, fire protection (tank dikes), hazardous material handling, maintenance and repair, general civil structural work, pipeline, and other development for a variety of industries including but not limited to the oil industry, schools, municipalities, utilities, Caltrans, Metro, DOT and many more.
The are looking for a Civil Superintendent/ Foreman to:
- 10 years' experience.
- Able to oversee a crew of 20+ employees.
- Open minded supervisor that is willing to learn more of different trades-
- Willing to support his team at all costs no matter what situation he is in
- Problem solving in the field.
- Keep his crew safe and able to mitigate or eliminate hazards before they occur.
- Respectful and able to admit mistakes.
- Creates structure and loyalty among his -crew.
- Organized performing any type of work.
- Willing to put his tool belt back on to help his crew and get his/her hands dirty.
- Able to speak to clients with clarity and do sales- (Excellent communication skills with staff and clients.)
- No legal problems that will hold him/her back from performing their work. (DISA, SCAN) Twic Card
- Dependable
- Willing to travel if needed. Distance 10%, Scope Sites
- Able to run a laser.
- Have knowledge installing forms, rebar, concrete, excavation, installing of hydraulic jack shoring with plywood, slide rail shoring, beam and plate, and asphalt work.
- Skill to purchase materials and tools for the job site.
