Industrial Gas Compliance Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Gas Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to the production, storage, transportation, and distribution of industrial gases. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, risk management, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific standards.
- Policy & Program Development: Develop and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Training & Education: Provide training to employees on regulatory requirements, safety procedures, and best practices in handling industrial gases.
- Permit & Documentation Management: Maintain records, permits, and compliance reports, ensuring timely submissions to regulatory agencies.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into compliance violations, accidents, or near-miss incidents and recommend corrective measures.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, industry groups, and internal stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in regulatory compliance, environmental health and safety (EHS), or a similar role in the industrial gas or manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, DOT and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance training.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence and train teams.
- Proficiency in compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
