CONTRACTS MANAGEMENT & PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - TAYLOR, TX
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage the Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) construction contractors, contractor selection and contractor management process development for the manufacturing equipment hook-up project phases for a greenfield semiconductor plant start-up in Taylor Texas, 30-miles North East of Austin Texas.
Contracts Manager responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* Coordinate contractor selection processes
* Assist and liaison with Client in overall construction management i.e. optimize processes/procedures
* Create and manage the contractor onboarding process
* Research/vet out any new contractors for additional scopes needed for tool install
* Continuous communication with all contractors while also developing and managing professional relationships with contractors
* Procurement/RFP point person for Procurement and Tool Hook-up/Install
* Invoice process - Assisting in managing communication with contractors as it relates to billing process
* Manage cost team as it relates to unit rate invoice review

Act in a leadership role for Owner/Client, as the Semiconductor Fab Owners Representative. Resolving and manage issues efficiently and with urgency in a team capacity. Showing support to the project and internal team.
Reporting to other stakeholders and confirming the successful completion of given tasks and programs. Identifying opportunities that are worth channeling team efforts to help in the achievement of a series of projects.
Working closely with the communication and management team to increase project awareness among the different stakeholders.
Ensures that the Tool Hook-up phase of the project delivers and measures up to the standard of the Owner.

Qualifications:
* Knowledge of construction and the construction industry; knowledge of Semiconductor experience a plus
* Understanding of construction contract methodology i.e. Unit Rate & T&M contracting strategies
* Understand the various facets of Construction Management & Sub-contractor Management with at least 5-years direct experience, as outlined above
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Ability to provide leadership to a team
* Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project) and Procore
Employment Package:
Salary $140,000, Regular fulltime employment

15-days Annual PTO
401K plan, enrolled day one, 3% full match, 50% match on next 2%.
Eligible for 20% bonus of salary based on project performance, yearly
