Job Summary:

The Project Controller - Technology is responsible for forecasting, modelling and reporting of AFEs, Fixed Assets, Engineering inventory and assigned projects (e.g. Mercury related). The role will provide financial analysis and support to Engineering and Operations teams to ensure meeting KPIs. Seasonally the role also participates in budget processes and help with audit of the Group. Cost Controller – Technology is also involved in governmental, legal, tax, customs, personnel and financial issues in the legal entities related to assigned projects.


Main Responsibilities:

The Project Controller - Technology provides analytical insight to optimize the financial performance of the AFEs, Engineering inventory consumption and assigned projects through:


· Organize and produce efficient and timely reporting, with relevant content, forward focus, in accordance with Group instructions,

· Enhance focus on operating cash and provide input for operating cash flows forecasting for AFEs, Engineering inventory and assigned projects,

· Maintain Fixed Asset Register and PPE reconciliation,

· Manage monthly depreciation runs and potential impairments,

· Management of certain Transfer Pricing tasks for related AFEs and assigned projects, in collaboration with the Tax Manager and Finance Controller – F P & A

· Identifying efficiency savings (e.g. cost savings and time savings)

· Attend various meetings on behalf of the finance team and feedback relevant information to the latter.

  • Active involvement in maintaining and improving the Company's ERP system, continuously improving/introducing automated reports.
  • Ad Hoc tasks to support VP Operations, Head of Engineering and CTO.


Internal Relations:

Frequent contact with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering departments and other business line controllers. Contact with other departments as necessary. Project Managers.


Required Competencies:

  • Degree level qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related subject preferred
  • Knowledge, experience and skills in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control and commercial management principles

· Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

· Good presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders

· Computer literacy skill set includes MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint


On offer will be a base salary in range of $100k-$120k plus annual bonus up to 20% and full employee benefits package with generous PTO and flexible working environment.
