Document Control Specialist
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Contract: Expected to go through December 2023
The Document Control Specialist will:
- Perform primary document control administration for all incoming and outgoing submittals for the project.
- Receive and distribute and track engineering document distribution internally and externally; this will include the development and maintenance of libraries for project data.
- Process/log contractor submittals and RFIs, NCRs and design changes.
- Develop and implement controls via simple, clear and consistent file structures, and ensure that communication and workflow protocols are followed by the team.
- Potentially assist in providing technical and administrative review of construction and engineering documents to confirm design intent, RFIs, and submittals comparison, and coordination.
In addition to the above, minimum requirements for the Document Control Specialist are:
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
- Great communication and organization skills.
Pay rate: 25/hr.-35/hr. or DOE.
