EHS Regional Manager (Bilingual)
Our client is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety professional to oversee multiple locations of construction and scrap metal yard type facilities based out of their St. Louis facility.
They are looking for an EHS Regional Manager to support the facilities and personnel they are assigned to by conducting activities to ensure compliance to all Federal, State, local and company standards.
EHS Regional Manager
Looking for a Safety professional to oversee multiple locations of construction and scrap metal type facilities in Saint Louis, MO.
The successful candidate will need a detailed mindset and focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to help ensure the continued integrity and safety of facility operations and processes. Success in this role will require collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to find the best solutions, while at the same time, ensuring adherence to industry and regulatory requirements.
Key tasks include conducting or facilitating risk assessments, actively participating in incident investigations, and providing technical expertise in developing, managing, and refining process safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
- Bachelors Degree related to Occupational Safety, Environmental, or Natural Sciences; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of direct experience managing EHS programs in a metals recycling, heavy industry or manufacturing setting.
- Through knowledge of OSHA and strong working knowledge of EPA regulations required.
- Experience in implementing change management and process improvement in the work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate EHS programs and policies to employees at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement site specific, and territory goals and strategies.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters in a professional and confidential manner.
Compensation:
$80k-$100K Annually DOE
