Description:
The Electrical Superintendent oversees field operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project completion. The role includes supervising and organizing construction work, managing electrical scheduling, and coordinating subcontractor activities. Responsibilities include overseeing various electrical project activities like raceways, cable trays, transformers, and instrumentation, while ensuring safety, productivity, and materials management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead construction efforts including safety, productivity, and scheduling.
- Supervise subcontractors for compliance with electrical construction tasks.
- Build strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Develop and manage project procedures, documents, and standards.
- Manage safety protocols, review safety documentation, and conduct site audits.
- Oversee electrical and instrumentation installation, tests, and calibration.
- Conduct daily field reporting, progress tracking, and documentation.
- Collaborate on field design changes and RFIs.
- Ensure compliance with project scope and handle field change orders.
- Oversee craft supervision, project staffing, and material/tool management.
- Interpret drawings, including isometric and P&ID diagrams.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety management skills.
- Heavy industrial experience required; commercial background not ideal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- LOTO experience
- Must meet company driving requirements.
