Civil Designer, US Hybrid

Primary Duties:
- Assist in creating site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D. Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation is desirable.
- Work collaboratively with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
- Transform field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces that can be used for site plans and construction drawings.
- Utilize intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and B&V policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and technology advancements.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet the company's quality standards.
- Interpret the content of engineering deliverables as required.
- Comprehend basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
- Apply foundational engineering design principles and related design guides pertinent to the assigned engineering discipline.
Required Skills:
Software Proficiency:
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Bentley MicroStation (2D/3D)
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Bluebeam
Qualifications:
- Experience in civil design/site layout utilizing Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
- Typically, a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Educational Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate preferred. An Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is also preferred.
- Ability to fulfill pre-employment onboarding requirements, including a criminal/civil background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
