Senior Equipment Engineer - Equipment Installation Project Manager (Arizona)
 
We are seeking a qualified and seasoned Equipment Installation Project Manager (PM) to manage a large-scale semiconductor installation project in Arizona. Responsible for managing equipment interconnects and hook-ups for 100+ Applied Materials tool installations, across all tool install groups. Solid Equipment Engineering background and Facilities interconnects experience required. The Project Manager will manage a team which provides:
 
  • Accurate installation and process equipment hook-up specifications and documentation
  • SSPS expertise 
  • BOM Specifications and details as required
  • Interfaces with Facilities Design contractors to facilitate timely and accurate designs
  • Interfaces with General Contractor and trades to ensure timely and accurate construction
  • Manage time and materials estimates with General Contractor
  • Manage the tool interconnect installations schedule
 
This Project Manager (PM) should have extensive semiconductor processing equipment installation experience on Applied Materials equipment. 
 
The PM will lead a team of Applied Materials (AMAT) engineers, both onsite and from HQ, to support a contracted facilities hook-up design company's AMAT tool interconnect design and BOM for all AMAT equipment sub-components and ancillary equipment in the subfab. 
 
Initial project scope expected to last 1 years starting in late February. Role will change as the project matures. 
 
Project Manager will be responsible to the AMAT Site Director. 
 
This is an exciting position in a State-of-the-Art 300mm semiconductor greenfield project. Ideal for an ambitious and talented Equipment Engineer to progress into Project Management, or a seasoned Project Manager with the right background. 
 
Employment Type: Full-time with Semiserve
 
Work Experience: 7-10 years of applicable experience
 
Travel: Based in Arizona, may require some travel.
 
Rate/Salary: $75 - $90 per hour or equivalent annualized salary, plus medical benefits, 15 days accrued PTO, and 10 public holidays.
  
Skills/Experience
  • Previous Install Qualification (IQ) experience on 300mm AMAT Equipment.
  • Understanding of AMAT SSPS documentation and specifications.
  • Equipment Engineering on AMAT 300mm equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good people skills, working in team environments.
  • Good leadership and mobilization skills.
  • Methodical and organized.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fab facilities infrastructure.
