Facilities Technician 

Location: Pasadena, CA - Locals Only

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr.

Must clear Drug Screen, Background Check & Motor Vehicle Report (Candidates need a clean driving record)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist senior technician with repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical needs

* Maintain and/or repair furniture, partitions, electrical/plumbing equipment

* Repair drywall, install wall covers, paint doors, make ceiling repairs

* Clean chiller room, mechanical room, boiler room, and building pumps

* Arrange afterhours heating, ventilating and air conditioning as needed

* Trouble fire panel and alarm systems

* Mount pictures, boards, etc. on a variety of surfaces, as needed

* Pack and move equipment and furniture

* Set up offices/cubicles with office furniture and/or build dismantle cubicle partitions

* Acquire, distribute, and dispose furniture as needed with approval from CREF Facilities Manager

* Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

* At least 2 years of related experience in building facilities is required

* Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

* Basic knowledge of Fire Life Safety. Knowledge of Systems Furniture a plus

* Basic computer knowledge. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

* Clean DMV driving record
