Field Engineering Manager
We are looking for an experienced Field Engineering Manager to join our Clients project for a travel based role located in Alabama. Job title: Field Engineering Manager
Location: Epes, Alabama
Travel: For candidates located outside of Epes, Alabama- a rotation/ travel schedule would be required
Schedule: Monday- Friday 10-hour shifts: 5/10's (Weekends required if project work permits)
Pay Range:
- $65.00-$72.00 per hour (Contract/Project)
- $130k-$145k annual base ( permanent)
Duration: 10-11 months (contract)
Other Incentives:
- $149.00 per diem
- 10% Completion Bonus
Responsibilities:
*The Technical Services Manager will support large and capital projects from development through commissioning
*The Technical Services Manager is expected to be deployed to specific project site in Epes, Alabama.
*The Technical Services Manager will manage the detailed engineering, scope of work development & procurement, and the onsite field engineering team
*The Technical Services Manager will take direction from the SVP of Construction and the Construction Site Manager
*The Technical Services Manager will interface with management, operations, engineering, project team and key vendors and contractors
*Aligning with our culture in operating safely and in a safe workplace, ensure that all work, in and out of projects, and both external and internal project resources are adhering to a safe work practices and supporting a safe workplace
*Lead engineering and procurement with development of scopes of work, evaluation of bid packages and management of key vendors and site contractors
*Lead project and field engineers to review engineering drawings and deliverables to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements
*Work closely with project controls, procurement, cost estimating, admin, and document control to support project delivery efforts
*Support the project with management of the project action register, lessons learned implementation, and design change management
*Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitor activities, progress, and milestones against the plan
*Manage the request for information (RFI) process between our contractors, vendors and engineering contractor
*Lead development of daily, weekly and monthly reports
*Support onsite quality control with in-process inspections of construction activities
*Assist in coordination and oversight of construction activities
Requirements:

Requirements:
*Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil)
*Possess strong organizational skills & sense of responsibility
*Driver of action
*Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Blubeam, and Navisworks with the ability to learn other applications as required
*Eagerness to learn
*This position requires physical requirements such as ability to walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs/ladders to inspect installations, etc.
