Job Title: Field Site Quality Inspector – Civil Construction Project

Location: Boardman, Oregon

We are seeking an experienced Field Site Quality Inspector to join our team on a new civil construction project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of quality assurance, inspection procedures, and compliance standards within the civil construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and document all materials and equipment delivered to the jobsite, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and maintenance in line with project specifications.

• Conduct detailed inspections and document findings at the beginning of each subcontract work phase (e.g., concrete application, structural steel erection, coatings application, etc.).

• Review quality assurance documents and verify compliance with project requirements.

• Oversee and track completion of “Punch-out Inspection” lists for each system.

• Verify subcontractor procedures and quality records for contractual compliance.

• Perform audits on field drawings, test records, and other project documentation.

• Identify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and document resolutions.

• Lead walkdowns with subcontractors and/or clients, obtaining system acceptance sign-offs.

• Participate in Task Safety Observations (TSOs), ensuring corrective measures are implemented.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with company and site safety requirements.

• Maintain all required licenses and certifications.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Civil construction industry experience (data center project experience a plus).

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical training/certifications desirable).

• Minimum 7 years of related experience in quality inspection and assurance roles.

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in computer systems and communication tools.

• Advanced technical writing experience required.
