Job Title: Fire Protection Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to support ongoing operations at a refinery facility in El Dorado, AR. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire protection equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SCBA, fire suppression systems, deluge systems, and fire monitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment, including SCBA repair and certification.
• Conduct routine testing and repair of deluge systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Service, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with refinery safety standards and regulations.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire monitors to ensure full operational readiness.
• Keep accurate service records, prepare inspection reports, and document repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and refinery-specific safety protocols.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for improving fire protection systems reliability.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Proven experience with fire protection systems in industrial or refinery environments.
• Technical expertise in SCBA, deluge, suppression, and fire monitor systems repair.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
• Relevant certifications/credentials for fire protection and SCBA maintenance required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a safety-focused team.
