HRIS Project Coordinator
Location: Brentwood, Tennessee

We are looking for a highly skilled and engaged Project Manager/Coordinator that can help us manage the system/technology portfolio of the HR business unit.

Job Description: 
This candidate should be able to operate at both project manager and project coordinator levels based on the need. They should be highly organized and detail-oriented including but not limited to self-maintaining elements like all project document creation/updates, close coordination and follow-ups, Scheduling meeting/maintaining cadences/follow-up meeting notes, etc.

Scope: 
Your experience doing:
1.    Active project management
2.    Project coordinator skills
3.    Plan creation with task level details in it
4.    RAID log maintenance
5.    Stakeholder management

Additional experience needed: 
*    Creating project charters
*    Documenting project scope
*    Developing task-level project plans and timelines
*    Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools
*    Developing and maintaining RAID logs
*    Updating project status decks
*    Coordinating the development of risk mitigation plans
*    Defining project roles and responsibilities

Requirements/Qualifications
  1. Experience and Expertise:
    1. Proven experience in coordinating and managing projects, preferably in a related field such as HR, IT, or operations.
    2. Familiarity with HR processes and systems is a plus.
    3. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  2. Communication Skills:
    1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    2. Ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
    3. Active listening skills to understand project requirements and user needs.
    4. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
  3. Project Management:
    1. Proficient in project management techniques and methodologies.
    2. Ability to create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
    3. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Technical Proficiency:
    1. Basic understanding of HRIS software and systems or willingness to learn.
    2. Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or Monday.com preferred. 
  5. Collaboration and Leadership:
    1. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
    3. Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate project team members.
    4. Ability to facilitate project meetings.
  6. Flexibility and Adaptability:
    1. Willingness to travel as required to client HQ. 
    2. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
    3. Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    4. Openness to learn new technologies and industry best practices.
  7. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    1. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    2. Attention to detail in project planning and requirements gathering.
    3. Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  8. Education and Certification:
    1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related discipline.
    2. Relevant certifications in project management are a plus (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
