PTS Advance has an immediate open contract position for an Health & Safety Coordinator to work on contract at our client's site in Billings, Montana. The HSE representative will work under supervision of a Project HSE Specialist or Project HSE Manager.  Contract is for 1 year.  Potential for OT during periods of increased work activity such as outages. OT to be pre-approved.

Pay rate: $37.00 hr. (negotiable)

10 days of PTO

Hours 40 hr. 5 days a week

Drug/Background required  to work on site

LOCAL CANDIDATE ONLY

-Analyze and evaluate daily observations and trends and report findings to supervisor.

-Attend and actively participate in daily contractor safety meetings and JSAs.

-Resolve field safety issues with contractors.

-Actively participate in incident investigations.

-Support weekly formal project HSE communications meetings.

-Mentor contractor HSE personnel. Work with construction Field Coordinators to address safety related issues.

-Lead formal, documented safety audits.

-Understanding of OSHA regulations and project HSE procedures.

-Able to effectively interact in a team environment.

-Ability to coach and influence.

-Good judgment abilities.

-Able to master safety policies and regulations quickly with little oversight.

-Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Some construction related field experience.

- Experience related to assisting with implementation of construction safety programs.

- Experience with participation in incident investigations.

- Experience related to dealing with construction companies.
