Job Description:
The Senior Process Engineer will provide technical leadership in the development and execution of Capital Projects, focusing on the latter stages, from construction to start-up. In this role, you will serve as the key technical resource supporting plant optimization efforts, addressing safety, capacity, cost, quality, and environmental improvements.

In this role, you will serve as the key technical resource supporting plant optimization efforts, addressing safety, capacity, cost, quality, and environmental improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Project Support: Serve as the process engineer on capital project teams.
- Project Definition & Scope: Use Front End Loading (FEL) to define and scope projects, evaluating process engineering alternatives based on technical feasibility and economics.
- Technical Deliverables: Lead the development of technical deliverables for key capital projects to ensure cost-effective, safe, and workable solutions. Key deliverables include:
- Process/Engineering Flow Diagrams
- Material and Energy Balances (M&EB's)
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
- Scope document reports
- Process requirements for new equipment/instruments
- Plant Support: Provide process engineering leadership during commissioning and start-up, supporting plant operations.
- Plant Optimization: Participate in plant optimization teams, identifying opportunities for improvements in cost, capacity, environmental, and safety aspects.
- Safety Programs: Actively contribute to safety programs, continuously improving the safety culture of the company.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to resolve complex situations or problems independently, enabling successful project outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers and plant representatives to build a cohesive and effective project team.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Chemical Engineering (required)
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering (required)
- Industry Experience: Experience in Chemical and related industries (required)
