Location: Remote, but preferably San Antonio Area

Duration: 5 months contract 
 
We are seeking a Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment for both hourly and salaried positions within the refinery, including operations, maintenance, engineering, safety, and corporate support roles. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to develop effective sourcing strategies, identify top talent, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. The Recruiter plays a key role in building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline to meet the workforce needs of the refinery.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Provides professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent acquisition process required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an external bench of top talent
  • Serves as a business partner to hiring managers to create recruiting and interviewing plans, define candidate selection criteria, develop job postings, and plan out the recruitment timeline for roles
  • Conducts regular followups with managers to ensure business requirements are met
  • Develops networks for attracting viable active and passive candidates through social, professional, and industry networks and contacts and understands functional hiring needs and search requirements to act as a resume evaluation expert
  • Promotes consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes that ensure a highly positive candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Utilizes applicant tracking system and manages full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.)
  • Maintains integrity and consistency of Talent Acquisition systems, processes and policies, to meet organizational, regulatory, or legal requirements. Ensures an EEO/AAP compliant selection process including reporting and internal education
  • Sources, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, experienced professional/technical, IT, support staff and hourly, and possibly management. 
  • Workforce planning, maintaining performance metrics, etc
  • May utilize the services of employment agencies. 
  • Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics. 
  • May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs
  • All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. Requirements: 
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Six (6) or more years Recruiting experience in an agency, corporate, or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) environment  (Required)
  • No Licensure or Certification Required.
  • Previously experience recruiting in oil/gas is required.
