Overview: 
The Desktop Technical Analyst works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. The Desktop Technical Analyst answers IT requests via phone, ticket, email, or instant message and explains solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.

Responsibilities: 
  • Perform work activities efficiently while continuously looking for cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and install PCs, help with telephone installs and issues, and troubleshoot issues with wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure in accordance with department standards
  • Support users utilizing Microsoft Active Directory
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents
  • Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems
