PTS Advance has an immediate need for an IT Support Analyst.  This position is located in Wilmington, CA.  Long term contract position. Industrial environment
Preferred candidate will have 5 or more years' experience in an IT discipline, 3 or more years managing Cisco Catalyst switches and Windows Domain System administration and
3 or more years of experience configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi cluster.  

Pay rate: $60+ hr. plus PTO
Hours: 40 hrs.  a week
Local candidates only
On site - no hybrid

Required skills:
· 3 or more years of experience in an applicable Information Technology discipline
· Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proven verbal and written communication skills for direct customer interaction
· Proven ability to master and apply advanced and specialized technical training
· Proven ability to work well with business, and local and remote IT resources
· Proven ability to deliver on commitments
· Proven ability and willingness to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as appropriate
· Ability to lift and move computers, servers, and other small network devices

Preferred:
· Strong leadership skills
· 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology discipline
· 3 or more years of experience managing Cisco Catalyst switches
· 3 or more years of experience on Windows Domain System administration
· 3 or more years of experience configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi cluster
· Experience managing an Enterprise Backup solution
· Possess a good understanding of Firewall principle and system security
· Experience with system management applications
· Managing and maintaining a wireless network in an enterprise environment
· Manage, update, and maintain antivirus patching software and distribution.
· Basic understanding of scripting and Reports to generate Data for Routine Tasks
· Ability to influence individuals and groups
· Ability to create an environment of inclusiveness and foster communication
· Ability to engender trust and confidence
· Active learner with good business knowledge
· Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and results driven effort
· Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently
· Proven discipline in following operational standards and processes
· Experience with/or demonstrated aptitude to be trained on Industrial Control Systems
· Prior experience working in and supporting refinery environments/Distributed Control System

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate closely with the business's industrial control system support group.
· Planning and managing infrastructure hardware and software refresh.
· Responding to system alerts and unplanned equipment events to ensure the reliable running of the process control network on a day to day basis
· Deliver optimizing IT services by improving reliability, efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness while following required engineering and cybersecurity standards and safety practices.
· Maintaining documentation of supported systems.
· Seeking, recommending, and delivering cost effective value-added opportunities.
· Assisting with budget planning and development.
· Coordinating resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests
