Lab Technician
Location: Port Arthur, Texas
Schedule: 512s-712s

Overview:
Our client is one of the largest downstream oil and gas companies in Southeast Texas and is looking to expand their team with qualified lab technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Run a variety of test methods- basic wet chemistry to high tech instrumentation of incoming samples from different stages of the production process
- Routinely conduct calibration tests on machinery to ensure accuracy in results
- Quickly adapt to new testing methods - training will be provided
- Maintain cleanliness of benchtops and working areas
- Utilize basic chemistry concepts and testing methods
Qualifications:
- Valid TWIC
- 1+ years of experience as a laboratory technician
- Ability to work shift work and possible 712 hours
- Basic understanding of wet chemistry testing methods
