Maintenance Parts Coordinator
Location: Burlington, WA
Position Summary
The Maintenance Parts Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels of maintenance parts, ordering all necessary components—including spares, specialized, and critical items—and ensuring efficient and cost-effective inventory management. This role plays a key part in supporting maintenance and production operations by ensuring timely availability of parts and minimizing downtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory levels of maintenance parts in alignment with production and repair schedules.
Order all maintenance-related parts and components.
Minimize inventory costs while ensuring high service levels and operational readiness.
Source vendor quotes for stocked items and individual requests from maintenance personnel.
Create and submit purchase requests, including quotes, for parts and services.
Track purchase orders from request to delivery, including payment status, shipping updates, and order verification.
Manage shop consumables, reorder supplies as needed, and assist in maintaining an organized workspace.
Maintain adequate supplies to support maintenance and production teams.
Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage inventory transactions, work order parts, purchase orders, and receiving activities.
Receive and restock spare parts using CMMS.
Provide daily updates to the Maintenance Planner on critical spare part orders.
Assist in kitting parts for preventive maintenance and repairs.
Support technicians by locating parts in-house or coordinating special orders.
Understand production equipment and assist with generating RFQs by identifying and photographing necessary parts.

Skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with CMMS/ERP systems preferred
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance preferred
Prior experience in inventory management and parts coordination required
