Material Handler

This position will perform multiple material handling tasks. The duties are to be executed in a safe, accurate, and timely manner to ensure materials are validated, tracked, and processed properly.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean and safe workplace is maintained
• Interact as liaison between turnaround material handling and suppliers / contractors / team / client personnel
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles
• Receive truck deliveries

• Load / Unload

• Identify, sort, validate, stage, kit, and document material / packages
• Maintains / updates material reports
• Label, store, kit, and stage material / equipment
• Issue materials and material packages
• Complete shipping/receiving/issuing paperwork

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years prior warehouse experience
• Oil and gas / piping preferred
• Must have strong written, verbal, mathematical skills
• Must have experience as a supervisor or warehouse manager. 

Work Conditions:

• This position will execute tasks in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Extended periods of time standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
• Must have forklift certification. 
• Operating and working around vehicles and equipment
• Fast-paced and performance driven environment
• Experience leading a warehouse team
