Job Summary
The Project Engineer will support engineering design during the execution phases of projects (FEED, detailed design, and construction) for new Greenfield assets and major brownfield facility upgrades and expansions associated with the Company's hazardous liquids, gas and water midstream pipelines, terminals, facilities, trucking stations, and loading racks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Enforce and maintain company safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
* Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, and for the safety of company assets, employees, and the general public.
* Review and redline engineering deliverables issued by 3rd party contractors. Act as technical focal point for all assigned projects.
* Ensure quality of engineering deliverables by enforcing QA and QC processes.
* Coordinate within Engineering, and with Capital Projects, Commercial, and Procurement departments to execute projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
* Provide information and feedback on engineering, construction, and operating plans, and related vendor agreements.
* Develop, promote and maintain positive working relationships with consultants, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and all departments within the company.
* Complete capital and project reporting and analysis requests.
* Provide analytics and other information and feedback to management.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Education
* 6-10 years of hazardous liquids, gas, and water midstream industry experience is preferred, or 10+ years of refining, petrochemical, or upstream oil & gas experience required.
* At least 3 years' experience working in project engineering.
* College graduate with a four-year Bachelor's Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
* Deep knowledge of API and related industry standards and best practices
* Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations, DOT Part 195, ASME B31.3 and B31.4 design standards, and API Recommended Practices
* Overnight travel to company locations and facilities for meetings, training, special projects, emergency planning, or information gathering will be required.
* Must maintain a valid driver's license
* Must be willing to submit to DOT random drug & alcohol screening

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* Master's Degree in an ABET-Engineering program
* 10+ years engineering experience
* A Professional Engineering Licensure is desirable
