Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance, security, and integration of our operational technology systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and other critical OT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor the health of operational technology systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Implement and optimize cybersecurity measures to protect OT assets from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of OT systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT systems with IT infrastructure and business processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for OT-related issues and emergencies.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in OT management and cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining operational technology systems in industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and PLCs.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and practices as they relate to OT environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
