We are seeking a Process Safety Information (PSI) Draftsman with expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D to support process safety documentation and management of change (MOC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in refining and be responsible for maintaining and updating critical engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) program by updating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Input redlined drawing updates into AutoCAD Plant 3D, ensuring accuracy and compliance with site standards.
  • Maintain and organize process safety documents and drawings within the site document control system.
  • Conduct field walks to verify P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) redlines and ensure alignment with operational changes.
  • Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations, providing technical support and documentation.
  • Assist in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), HAZOP, and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) reviews.
  • Perform additional engineering support tasks as needed to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Requirements: 
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree (required); Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D (required).
    • 1-2 years of experience in a refining or industrial facility (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of process safety documentation, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to work in field environments to verify drawings and gather required updates.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
