Responsibilities:
- Support non-environmental permitting projects, including tasks such as:
- Communicating with permitting authorities and internal/external team members to determine permitting requirements.
- Tracking specific requirements of each jurisdiction and providing this information to the team.
- Preparing and submitting permit packages in compliance with jurisdictional guidelines.
- Monitoring permit submittal, approval, and expiration dates.
- Relaying permit conditions to the project team to ensure comprehensive communication with permitting agencies.
- Creating and distributing relevant project correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing multiple permits and projects simultaneously.
- Developing and maintaining accurate and complete project files, continuously ensuring their integrity and completeness.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (equivalent experience may substitute for the degree requirement).
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new tracking and software programs such as ArcGIS, Unifier, and Procor.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to excel in a dynamic problem-solving environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on problem-solving.
- Familiarity with electric utility and fiber communication terminology, non-environmental permitting processes, and Department of Transportation permitting platforms such as EPS is a plus.
