Position Overview
A leading global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a motivated, entry-level Process Engineer to join their team in the greater Houston/League City area. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering who is eager to launch a long-term career in process engineering within the polymers or petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Support daily plant operations by monitoring and optimizing process performance
- Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
- Analyze process data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams on continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in process safety management (PSM) and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports
- Support capital and small project initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
- Exposure to polymers, plastics, or related processes through coursework, internships, or research
- Recent graduate or early-career (0–2 years of experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in polymer or chemical manufacturing
- Familiarity with process simulation tools or data analysis software
- Local to the Houston and surrounding areas (or strong ties to the region)
- Graduates from local institutions such as University of Houston or nearby universities strongly encouraged to apply
