Duties:
This Senior Field Project Controls Planning/Scheduling role is based at the project site in Delta, UT, supporting a first-of-its-kind Hydrogen Power Generation project. The site operates on a 5x10 schedule.
This Senior Field Project Controls Planning/Scheduling role is based at the project site in Delta, UT, supporting a first-of-its-kind Hydrogen Power Generation project. The site operates on a 5x10 schedule.
- Per Diem: $125/day (7 days/week) is available for professionals residing more than 50 miles from the site.
This is a senior-level planning/scheduling position. Under general supervision, the selected candidate will competently perform planning, scheduling, change management support, and field project controls tasks according to their training, capabilities, and experience. The role provides guidance to less experienced project controls personnel and acts as a team lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project controls scheduling team in plan and schedule preparation, including startup and commissioning planning.
- Interface with the project team to coordinate planning and scheduling activities.
- Ensure constructability is integrated into the planning process.
- Facilitate productivity reporting.
- Perform or assist with critical path and float analysis reporting.
- Apply key cost control processes.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify and address issues.
Skills:
- Experienced Project Controls Analyst with at least 5 years of Primavera P6 planning/scheduling experience.
Education:
- Preferred: Master's degree (or local equivalent) in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Alternatives:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant cost control or planning/scheduling experience.
- No Bachelor's degree required if the candidate has 10+ years of relevant cost control or planning/scheduling experience in a home office or field office environment.
