Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Controls Lead Analyst for a field-based role on an advanced power generation project located in Lathrop, Missouri. This position is scheduled to mobilize in September 2025 and will follow a 5x10s work schedule.
Per diem is available for professionals residing more than 50 miles from the site.
This is a lead-level role within Project Controls, which may be focused on Planning, Cost Management, or Execution Leadership—or a combination of all three. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and apply advanced project controls techniques, provide strategic guidance, and mentor junior personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Control:
  • Lead the cost control team on complex projects through cost reporting, forecasting, quantity tracking, change management, and risk analysis.
  • Interpret and provide feedback on contractual cost requirements.
Planning & Scheduling:
  • Oversee all planning and scheduling activities including float analysis, earned value management, constructability reviews, and startup planning.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in scheduling forensics as required by the business unit.
  • Review and provide guidance on schedule-related contract language.
Project Controls Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Controls professionals.
  • Ensure effective planning and cost control processes are implemented and followed.
  • Identify and escalate issues proactively while collaborating with management to resolve project risks and trends.
  • Support and facilitate change management and risk analysis discussions.
Execution Leadership:
  • Drive the implementation of Project Controls procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide clear visibility into project health to business stakeholders.
  • Participate in project reviews and ensure resolution of follow-up actions.
  • Support staffing for projects and proposals, and provide performance feedback and development opportunities for staff.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in cost control or planning & scheduling
    • OR no degree with 10+ years of relevant field or home office experience
  • Preferred:
    • Master's degree (or local equivalent) in Engineering or Construction Management
