Project Coordinator
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12-month contract to hire
Hourly rate: $28-35/hr
Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating engineering and construction projects by working closely with the Project Manager and the project team. This position involves coordinating with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of project needs. Key responsibilities include managing project communication, preparing and presenting documentation, and supporting project management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between vendors, suppliers, clients, and project teams.
  • Resolve project-related queries by researching and providing appropriate answers.
  • Prepare and present meeting notes, reports, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
  • Manage project setup and documentation updates, ensuring deadlines and benchmarks are met.
  • Coordinate and facilitate various on-site and off-site project meetings, including orientations, training, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure project personnel comply with required training programs in coordination with corporate training departments.
  • Handle project closeout activities and compile project cost forecasts and reports.
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivable and unbilled issues, and assist in preparing client contracts.
  • Investigate unbilled project expenses and report findings to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation and verify the accuracy of bills, invoices, and expense reports.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 8 years of experience, OR
    • Associate Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience, OR
    • High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of experience.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
