In the role of Project Manager - Roadway Infrastructure you will be responsible for managing day to day operations, ensuring that the contract standards are adhered to in a cost effective and efficient manner. In this role the PM will be expected to develop organic client relationships to help drive future revenue increases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Project Delivery: Establish and maintain effective administrative systems, methodologies, and structures to meet project obligations related to infrastructure quality, safety, contractor agreements, procurement, cost control, scheduling, and estimating processes.
- Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Address contract-related issues proactively and implement timely solutions while sharing methodologies to drive systemic improvements.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead, organize, and motivate project team members to foster collaboration, ensure high performance, and deliver exceptional asset operations and maintenance outcomes.
- Promote Company Values and Employee Development: Integrate company values into team performance, emphasizing safety, quality, customer service, and business acumen while supporting professional growth.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to the company's Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety programs, as well as relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Build Strong Relationships: Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to promote collaboration and success.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial responsibilities to optimize cost efficiency and provide detailed financial analysis and performance reporting.
- Regulatory Coordination: Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and facilitate approvals for Fire/Life/Safety processes.
- Contract and Project Compliance: Monitor adherence to legal, financial, safety, and administrative policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Agreements: Contribute to the negotiation and implementation of subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring maximum value for the contract.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor metrics to evaluate and improve contract performance.
- Safety Leadership: Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety policies and leading by example to maintain the well-being of all project personnel.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs, promoting a customer service mindset across the project team, and resolving issues effectively.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements to avoid potential legal challenges.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Actively contribute to a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and respect, ensuring a discrimination-free environment.
- Policy Adherence: Perform duties in alignment with company policies and procedures, adapting as necessary.
- Rehabilitation Oversight: Supervise rehabilitation activities, including O&M manual development, design review, planning, and facility/system acceptance to achieve project objectives.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Road asset management experience (must have experience with snow and ice)
- PE License (desired)
- 10+ years of direct management experience
- Strong understanding of asset management within facility maintenance, repairs, and operations.
