Position: Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler)
Location: Wallingford, CT with 50% travel to KY

Description:
The Staff Project Controls Specialist will lead project controls processes with the internal project management team to ensure project deliverables are executed within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
- Analyze data, review logs, and generate reports using Enterprise Planning & Controls or other tools.
- Create and manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Develop, implement, and maintain scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts for multiple projects.
- Follow and support project execution plans, covering engineering, procurement, construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for the project team.
- Approve Purchase Orders/Subcontracts and ensure proper coding.
- Document and input changes to cost reports or forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review costs, contingencies, and support external audits.
- Review upstream (prime contract) and downstream (purchase order & subcontract) change orders.
- Develop and present cash flow reports.
- Create, review, and analyze various levels of schedules, including pre-programmed project scheduling reports.
- Monitor resource loading and apply logic ties within schedules.
- Support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM) and perform schedule what-if scenarios.
- Develop and maintain an earned value management system, progress measurement, and progress curves.
- Conduct material takeoffs and quality checks on project controls deliverables.
- Perform field audits to ensure reporting and process accuracy.
- Assist with Project Forensic Analysis as needed.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with 3+ years of direct project controls experience (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
