Experience: 2+ years of purchasing, timekeeping, and payroll experience. 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 
  • Assist Plant Manager with admin duties. 
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, various software, typing, 10 key
    by touch, copier/scanner experience. 
  • Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to successfully communicate by written or verbal communication.  Writing must be neat and legible.
  • Reasoning ability:  Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment (shared office space).
  • Assist the Purchasing Agent with construction purchase orders, expediting orders, and other duties as assigned
  • Compose Purchase Orders - preparation of purchase orders and all purchase order documents to be sent to vendors, enter purchase orders in GP Mate software.
  • Maintain a filing system.
  • Word processing for general correspondence and forms control.
  • Document Control of purchasing documents, recordkeeping, answer phone and take messages as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of purchasing experience
  • Experienced with Word and Excel. SAP, preferred
  • Detail oriented and team player
