Job Title: Procurement & Requisition Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Procurement & Requisition Specialist to join our project team supporting operations and capital project execution. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end requisitioning process for materials and services—ensuring accuracy, tracking progress, and keeping key stakeholders informed. You'll play a critical role in aligning purchasing activity with project schedules and supplier performance to help deliver complex industrial projects on time and on budget.
What You'll Do
- Prepare requisitions for materials, services, and expenses based on internal stakeholder needs.
- Track requisition progress from initiation through to final delivery, providing timely updates to teams.
- Maintain procurement data in enterprise systems and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure supplier terms and conditions are properly referenced.
- Partner with engineering, project management, and finance to validate technical scopes, drawings, cost centers, and timelines.
- Support supplier management by expediting orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and resolving delays.
- Generate and distribute reports on outstanding requisitions, supplier performance, and engineering deliverables.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, project coordination, procurement, or related functions.
- Experience with supplier engagement and order expediting in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with SAP, Coupa, or similar enterprise procurement platforms.
- Strong communication and coordination skills—comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and suppliers.
- Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience supporting capital projects in industrial, chemical, or oil & gas sectors.
- Familiarity with technical drawings, engineering documents, and procurement procedures in project settings.
