Key Responsibilities

Daily P&L & Exposure Reporting: Produce and validate daily P&L and exposure for multiple commodities (crude, gasoline, distillates, fuel oil, renewables, NGLs).

P&L Attribution: Break down and explain P&L drivers, market impacts, and risk movements.

Trade Validation: Verify trade capture accuracy; work with front office and operations to resolve mismatches.

Curve & Pricing Checks: Validate pricing inputs and market curves to ensure consistency and correct valuation.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with trading, scheduling, accounting, and risk teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Process Improvement: Help automate and standardize reporting; contribute to system enhancements, dashboards, and analytical tools.

Controls & Compliance: Maintain strong governance practices and support regulatory requirements.

Team Support: Provide cross-coverage across products/regions and mentor junior analysts.

Financial Reporting Alignment: Coordinate with FP&A to ensure MTM P&L is consistent with GAAP reporting.

Technical Requirements

Advanced Excel (must-have)

Proficiency with ETRM systems: SAP, OpenLink/Endur, Allegro, FIS

Power BI familiarity; Python/SQL is a bonus
