Job Title: SPI (Smart Plant Integration) Specialist / Super User
Location: Sugar Land, Texas

We are seeking a skilled SPI Specialist/Super User to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our Smart Plant Integration processes.
Responsibilities:
- Smart Plant Integration (SPI) Expertise: Serve as the go-to specialist for Smart Plant Integration, with a deep understanding of SPI tools and technologies.
- System Implementation: Lead the implementation of SPI tools and systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing engineering processes.
- Super User Support: Act as the primary point of contact for SPI-related queries, providing technical support to users and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure SPI tools to align with project requirements, maximizing efficiency and functionality.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for engineering teams on SPI tools and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SPI solutions into various engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to validate the accuracy and reliability of SPI-generated data and reports.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SPI configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends and updates related to SPI technologies, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand SPI requirements, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SPI Specialist or Super User, with expertise in SPI tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with SPI tools such as SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Electrical, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve SPI-related issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience in conducting training sessions and developing training materials for SPI tools.
- Ability to customize and configure SPI tools to meet project requirements.
- Familiarity with engineering processes in industries such as oil and gas, chemical, and manufacturing.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the successful integration of SPI tools into engineering projects.
