Project Safety Coordinator - Soda Springs, Idaho
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct HSE Training for site personnel, run training reports frequently being proactive, not letting any training(s) expire.
- Collect, review and scan paperwork to district data-entry personnel weekly.
- Conduct field audits, checking on site personnel for OSHA/MMR compliance and when issues arise, be professional about correcting them.
- Conduct monthly inspections, which may include but aren't limited to (Fall Protection, Ladders, Equipment, Assured Grounding/GFCI, Electrical Equipment & Arc Flash Gear etc.).
- Transporting personnel monthly to the clinic for monthly random drug testing and coordinating activities with District HSE as needed for support.
Requirements:
- Construction Industry experience
- OSHA 500 or 510 certified
- Basic computer skills
- Must be good at talking to people and conducting training
- Basic electrical knowledge (NFPA 70E, Identify Electrical Hazards and know how to properly mitigate them)
- Must be a strong self-starter
Compensation:
Pay rate $45 to $50/.hr
Per Diem $150/day, seven days a week
Work schedule: 6/10
