Project Safety Coordinator - Soda Springs, Idaho

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HSE Training for site personnel, run training reports frequently being proactive, not letting any training(s) expire.
  • Collect, review and scan paperwork to district data-entry personnel weekly.
  • Conduct field audits, checking on site personnel for OSHA/MMR compliance and when issues arise, be professional about correcting them.
  • Conduct monthly inspections, which may include but aren't limited to (Fall Protection, Ladders, Equipment, Assured Grounding/GFCI, Electrical Equipment & Arc Flash Gear etc.).
  • Transporting personnel monthly to the clinic for monthly random drug testing and coordinating activities with District HSE as needed for support.

 

Requirements:

  • Construction Industry experience 
  • OSHA 500 or 510 certified
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be good at talking to people and conducting training
  • Basic electrical knowledge (NFPA 70E, Identify Electrical Hazards and know how to properly mitigate them)
  • Must be a strong self-starter

 

Compensation:

Pay rate $45 to $50/.hr

Per Diem $150/day, seven days a week
