Transmission Engineer (Remote)
 Compensation: $110,000–$140,000/year
 Location: Fully Remote

My client is seeking a Transmission Engineer to play a key role in the engineering, design, and analysis of high-voltage transmission lines. This position is an opportunity to contribute to the development of detailed project packages that support critical infrastructure across the power industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer high voltage (69–500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
• Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation/assembly drawings.
• Conduct detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical field support during construction phases.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work that requires independent evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Handle assignments involving standard engineering practices and a variety of complex challenges.
• Collaborate on project studies, reporting, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Innovate and implement new approaches to solve technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).
• 6+ years of experience in transmission line engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license strongly preferred.
• PLS-CADD proficiency is required.
