PTS Advance has an immediate need for a Senior Technical Analyst to work on site at our clients location in Wilmington, CA. This is a year or longer contract position. Ability and willingness to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as appropriate is required. Local Candidates highly desirable.
Requirements May Include:
- Collaborate closely with the business's industrial control system support group.
- Planning and managing infrastructure hardware and software refresh.
- Responding to incidents system alerts and unplanned equipment events to ensure the reliable running of the process control network on a day-to-day basis.
- Deliver optimizing IT services delivery by improving reliability, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness of defined components of services while following required engineering and cybersecurity standards and safety practices.
- Maintaining documentation of supported systems.
- Seeking, recommending, and delivering cost effective value-added opportunities.
- Assisting with the business's budget planning and development.
- Coordinating resources and suppliers to complete projects and work requests

Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- 3 + years of experience in an applicable Information Technology discipline
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills for direct customer interaction.
- Proven ability to master and apply advanced and specialized technical training.
- Proven ability to work well with business, and local and remote IT resources.
- Proven ability to deliver on commitments.
- Proven ability and willingness to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as appropriate.
- Ability to lift and move computers, servers, and other small network devices.
Other:
- Ability to pass a background check and participate in a random drug testing program.
- Ability to obtain a (TWIC) Transportation Workers Identification Card TWIC® | Transportation Security Administration (tsa.gov) - can be obtained upon offer letter.
