Our client is a Veteran-owned company based in Northern California who provides construction services such as major upgrades for government entities. They are looking for a Construction Superintendent with at least five years of recent experience in the role and great communication skills within the Bay Area to oversee the start and completion of multiple projects at a time.

This person will also be responsible for:

• Ensuring safety at all times, including attending safety meetings and trainings
• Overseeing of all aspects of the field operations
• Dealing with multiple jobs at a time
• Creating and updating weekly project work schedules
• Working closely with the Project Manager on a daily basis to ensure that the project is on time and running as smoothly as possible
• Maintain written daily logs of all activities and document any project issues on the job site(s)
• Detailed Daily reports are a priority requirement of this position
• Building and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with everyone assigned to the project
• Being well-organized
• Excellent communication skills at all levels

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of recent experience within the Construction Superintendent role
  1. Commercial, industrial, Civil and other large-scale construction projects are preferred
• Excellent construction site management skills
• Understanding of architectural plans, schemas, civil and structural plans
• Excellent scheduling and contract management skills
• Excellent technical report writing skills
• Software knowledge with MS Suite (intermediate-level)
  1. Spectrum, Viewpoint, Procore (a plus)
• OSHA 30 certified
• Bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus
